American Global Yacht Group (AGYG) is everything that its name implies. It is an American based marine company, with US offices in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis, MD, Seattle, Washington and Greenport (Long Island), NY will be opening in the fall of 2009. We are represented internationally with sales offices in Sydney, Australia and Toronto, Canada. Our yachts satisfy a wide range of market segments with one thing in common: Quality. The production standards are of the highest quality found in the industry. From our steel expedition yachts to our smallest fiberglass family cruisers, the common denominator is quality of construction which enhances the yachting experience for our customers. This includes not only the yacht itself, but the sales experience and even more importantly, the after-delivery service.

Our yacht building capabilities span the globe. We currently build our products in the United States, Taiwan, and Turkey.

AGYG was initially formed by Jeff Druek, the founder of Outer Reef Yachts, and Jerry Cureton, a founder of Molokai Strait. Fred Azar joined the team in 2005 and brought with him an Annapolis area presence that has expanded exponentially in the short time AGYG has been on the Bay.

In 2007, Trey Beasley filled out the ownership ranks of AGYG. Trey is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced builder of large yachts. His addition to our team adds expertise to all of our lines, including a new line of sport motoryachts, Newport, that he has defined and helped design. The all fiberglass Newport Yachts product line begins with a 71SS4, 78, 85, and 100 feet and culminates currently with a 120 foot Tri-deck. The Newport 71SS4 is powered with the new Volvo IPS, a revolutionary new propulsion system with dramatically increased efficiency compared to traditional inboard shaft systems.

AGYG is one of the fastest growing yacht building companies in the US. In addition to the company owned product lines - Outer Reef, Molokai Strait and Newport, we are dealers in all locations for Apreamare, Hunt, Southport Boatworks and Rivolta Yachts. We also acquired the North Atlantic Marine Group in September of 2007 which adds the number 1 largest Formula Boats dealership for the Chesapeake Bay region. This added an additional office and service center in the Annapolis area.
